We developed a tailored control board for vehicle gear selectors and transmissions. This involved custom circuit and software development, as well as PCB fabrication to meet specific client requirements. The board boasts a range of functionalities, including monitoring gear selector position, transmitting data to the CAN bus via J1939 protocol, providing LED feedback for gear position, managing reverse lighting and gear indicator lights, monitoring ignition, and conducting electronic diagnostics of the selector. We also integrated a calibration feature to accommodate mechanical variations in selectors. Our delivery encompasses initial prototypes and a production run of 500 units, with plans for expansion to 4000-6000 units and the creation of a testing rig for manufacturing quality assurance.
