We engineered a comprehensive firmware solution tailored for an automated gearbox control PCB, designed specifically for vehicle gear selectors and transmissions. This involved the development of bespoke firmware optimized to seamlessly interface with the control board. Our solution encompasses a diverse range of functionalities, including real-time monitoring of gear selector position, data transmission to the CAN bus via the J1939 protocol, provision of LED feedback for gear position, management of reverse lighting and gear indicator lights, ignition monitoring, and electronic diagnostics of the selector.
